The ACT method: assessing climate strategy alignment
ACT (Assessing low-Carbon Transition) is a method, run by ADEME and the CDP, that assesses the credibility of a company's decarbonisation strategy.
What it assesses
ACT looks not only at past emissions but at the coherence of the future strategy: targets, investments, transition plan, governance. It gives an alignment score with a low-carbon trajectory.
Why it is useful
ACT complements the carbon assessment by judging the trajectory, not just the snapshot. A solid assessment and an SBTi trajectory are the foundation. UltraCarbon provides these quantified elements.
Frequently asked questions
ACT and SBTi, what link?

Who uses ACT?
Companies wishing to make their transition credible, and investors or buyers to assess their partners.
